StudyKit makes free tools for students. Citation generators, grade calculators and study timers — the small, mechanical tasks that surround coursework.

Why we exist

Most of the well-known student tools were free once. Several were acquired and then moved export, extra styles or ad-free use behind a subscription. Formatting a reference list is not something a student should have to pay for.

How we stay free

The plan is to fund the site with advertising — but there are none on it yet, so the honest answer today is that it costs almost nothing to run and nobody is paying for it. When ads do arrive they will be limited to a small number of units and never placed where they interfere with using a tool. We do not and will not sell personal data.

How the tools work

Wherever possible, tools run entirely in your browser. Work you save — such as your bibliography — is stored in your own browser using local storage, not on our servers.

Corrections

If a tool gives you output you believe is wrong, please tell us. Incorrect output is the most serious kind of bug we can have, and we treat reports of it as urgent.
