Using the site

The tools are free to use for personal and academic purposes. You do not need an account. Please do not attempt to disrupt the service or use automated means to overload it.

Accuracy

We work hard to make our tools correct and we test them extensively. Even so, output is provided for your convenience and you remain responsible for checking it. Citation styles in particular vary between institutions — always check the output against your own university’s guide before submitting work.

Your content

Anything you enter into a tool stays yours. Where a tool saves your work, it saves it in your browser, not on our servers. We claim no rights over it.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw tools.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
